TPS Tuesday December 2nd – Ross McKelvey MPAGB FIPF EFIAP BPE5*

On Tuesday, December 2nd at the Tallaght Photographic Society we have guest speaker Ross McKelvey MPAGB FIPF EFIAP BPE5* from Belfast.

Ross, also a member of the IPF Council, will be showing us a small selection of prints and will also demonstrating some flash photography tips and techniques!  Looking forward to that 🙂

This Tuesday we will also find out who has won December’s One Shot competition.  The theme is Water and was chosen by last month’s winner, Des Coates.  The winner of this month will set the theme for January’s One Shot and judge the entries!

Finally, the Tallaght Photographic Society was nominated for an award under the Arts & Culture category at this year’s Tallaght Person of the Year awards!  The ceremony was held at the Red Cow Pavillion on Friday, November 28…  There was some stiff competition in the category as there were so many deserving nominees.  The Award went to local DJ and stage producer/director Patricia Dunne – congratulations to Patricia!  It was a great honour for the TPS to be even nominated for an award and it was an enjoyable night!  Maybe next year?
