TPS Photographic Outing to Powerscourt Waterfall – Sunday, September 27th

This Sunday, September 27th, we’re off to Powerscourt Waterfall for a photographic outing.  Powerscourt Waterfall is Ireland’s highest waterfall and is located in the foothills of the beautiful Wicklow Mountains.

Besides the waterfall, the location has much to offer for photographers with plenty of woodland paths and scenery.

The entrance to the falls opens at 10.30am and it costs €5.50 per person to enter, or €5 for students and OAPs.

We’re meeting on Sunday morning in Molloy’s car park at 9.30am to car pool.  Bring a bite to eat and drink, as although there is a kiosk there which serves tea, coffee and snacks, it may not be open.  Prepare for the weather… and don’t forget your camera!

Next Tuesday, September 29th, is monthly league competition judging with very special guest judge, Patrick Kavanagh LIPF, EFIAP from Palmerstown Camera Club.  Paddy is a smashing photographer with a keen eye for birds, wildlife and travel photography.

The very best of luck to all who entered!  🙂
