This Sunday, June 28th, we’re off on a club outing to the Rock of Dunamase in Co Laois. On the Rock stands the ruins of a 12th century castle which overlooks the surrounding Laois landscape! We’ll be leaving early to avoid other visitors to the site so are meeting in Molloy’s car park at 9am sharp on Sunday morning! All are welcome 🙂
Don’t let bad weather put you off going as dark clouds may add to the atmosphere over the ruins – but dress for the weather and be prepared for rain!
On Tuesday, June 30th our outing is to Bull Island and the North Bull Wall. There is also Dollymount Strand and its grassy sand dunes as an option. We’re meeting as usual, in Molloy’s car park on Tuesday evening, 7.30pm sharp to car pool.
Don’t forget your camera 🙂
