TPS Outing Tuesday 5th July, Cloughlea
This Tuesday, July 5th, we’re going to picturesque Cloughlea, near Manor Kilbride, Co Wicklow. The Cloughlea river flows under the stone bridge here and cascades down a series of small waterfalls before joining the River Liffey. The river is surrounded by trees and is overlooked by St John’s Church. A perfect spot to practice blurred water shots with a slow shutter speed!
Meet in Molloy’s car park at 7.30pm sharp. Then take the N81 towards Blessington. After about 12km turn left onto the R759 (signposted for Roundwood, Manor Kilbride and Sally Gap) and just opposite a craft shop, Tramway Treasures and Crafts. After about another 2.5km turn left, staying on the R759, just before entering Manor Kilbride. The turn is signposted for Sally Gap and Roundwood. Follow the road for about 4km and you’ll come to the bridge on a sharp right bend and you’re there!
