Sunday November 2nd Outing to Arbour Hill
This Sunday, November 2nd, we’re heading into Dublin City to Arbour Hill Museum and Church of the Sacred Heart. We will meet Ronnie who will give us a guided tour of the museum and cemetery where the leaders of the 1916 rising are buried. We will be brought into the church where we will also be able to take some photos. We will be offered tea and coffee during the visit.
We then have the option of heading into the city centre where we can continue to take some photos or have something to eat and drink!
The LUAS is probably the best way to get into the museum as it stops right at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks. Arbour Hill is located at the rear of the museum.
We are meeting Ronnie at 11.30am outside the Church of the Sacred Heart so we will meet at the LUAS stop at the Square Shopping Centre for 10am departure!
See you there!
