Resizing Digital images for Club Competitions

Photoshop

  1. Open your images in Photoshop
  2. Go to Image-Image Size
  3. Ensure your Width and Height are in Pixels, as this is the sizing we are concerned with for display. Also, ensure that the three boxes, Scale Styles, Constrain proportions and Resample image, are ticked, and Bicubic is chosen for the scale type.
  4. Then change your largest pixel value to 1024
  5. Click OK
  6. Then go to File-save as
  7. Use the following file name convention Member number-Division-Title.jpg
  8. Choose a quality of “10” for your new jpeg  

That’s it! You now have an image ready to submit to the monthly competition
