The bad news is our weekly club meetings at the Maldron for this season have come to an end 🙁

The good news is that Summer is here again!!!  …and that means our weekly summer outings are back beginning with a visit to Howth Harbour this coming Tuesday, June 3rd.  We’ll be meeting in Molloy’s car park and leaving for Howth at 7.30pm sharp! I’m looking forward to a good turn out from members old and new!

Howth Harbour is a great place to visit with plenty to photograph from boats and yachts, sea birds, Irelands Eye, Howth Lighthouse and if you’re lucky you may even catch one or two seals swimming about the harbour.  If we’re lucky with the weather, we may even experience a spectacular sunset.

If you’re currently not a member of the TPS, you’re more than welcome to join us on any of our summer outings each Tuesday evening.  Keep an eye on the website for updates!

This June bank holiday weekend offers some great photo opportunities in Dublin City, with Bloom 2014 already underway in Phoenix Park.  Bloom is Ireland’s largest gardening, food and family event and features 30 beautiful show gardens as well as many food and Irish craft stalls.

Staying in the city, why not take a stroll down to Dublin’s docklands for the Dublin Port Riverfest!  This maritime feast includes the arrival and berthing of 3 tall ships and 4 schooners and will feature music, dancing, circus street performers, pirate re-enactments and open air food and craft markets.

Have a great bank holiday weekend!
